Cork Student Says He Thought He Had Lost Everything When He Heard His Family Were To Be Deported

17 year old Zubair Khan was speaking ahead of a meeting between immigration officials and his parents and older brother today in Dublin.
The family, who are living in direct provision in the city, were due to be deported today, however the order has been put on hold after the Justice Minister Charlie Flanagan intervened to allow a review of the case.
The oldest brother Hamza is studying computer science at UCC, Zubair, Umair and Mutjuba are students at Coláiste Éamann Rís, while their sister Shazadi is studying hospitality.
Speaking to RedFM News Zubair Khan says he considers Cork his home and says can't imagine living anywhere else:
