Cork takes part in Global march to highlight Climate Change
Thousands are expected to take to the streets around the world today in a march to prevent climate change.
Demonstrations are taking place in Ireland, and cities around the globe ahead of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris next week.
Marches in Cork Dublin and Belfast are beginning at 2pm. The Cork March begins on The Grand Parade.
Climate Change Officer with Oxfam Ireland David Healy, says it will take a Global effort to resolve the issue of climate change:
