Cork Targeted As One Of Europe's Flagship Docklands Project

Cork is being targeted as one of Europe's flagship docklands projects.
A new one billion euro development plan for the City Docks and Tivoli Docks will be discussed by planners this week.
The Irish Examiner reports that workshops with interest groups and planners to draft a development guide will take place tomorrow.
The aim of the workshops is to help with the drafting of new local area plans which it's hoped will be finalised by February 2018.
It's hoped the region will be transformed into a dynamic urban quarter and will attract thousands of job.
Submissions for the new plans can also be made up until July 7th at consult.corkcity.ie
