Cork taxi drivers say changes to city streets threaten their business

Concerns are mounting for taxi drivers as proposed changes to a number of streets in the city centre are threatening their opearations. Taxi drivers are currently awaiting the outcome of a re-examination of changes made to Washington Street to accomdate a bicycle from UCC. Proposed alterations to the area surrounding the Bus station in Parnell place are also adding to the worries of city centre taxis who say they're not being considered in the plans.
