Cork TD dissatisified with uncertainty surrounding Events Centre

A Cork TD says he's not satisfied he's getting straight answers in relation to the highly anticipated Events Centre.
The project has faced significant delays since contractors BAM and the venue’s operators, Live Nation, first won a competitive tender in 2014.
An initial €20 million in public funding was awarded to the project however following a detailed internal re-design developers requested an additional €18 million in state support.
The stalled project is continuing to cause concern in the city as the outcome of the request is still unknown.
Speaking to RedFM News Sinn Féin TD Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire says national and local government need to work on alleviating the uncertainty surrounding the project.
