Cork teen recovery in hospital following balcony fall

It happened in Kinsale over the weekend.
A Cork teenager who fell from a balcony in Kinsale, is recovering after undergoing back surgery at Dublin's Mater Hospital at the weekend.
Former Kinsale Community College student Ciara O’Brien was attending a party at The Moorings nightclub, and was in a restricted area at the time of the fall.
It's believed the 18-year-old, who had just received her Leaving Ccert results, fell three storeys and while her injuries are not life threatening they have been descirbed as serious.
She's being treated at the Mater Hospital's specialist National Spinal Injuries Unit in Dublin.
Speaking to RedFM News local councillor Kevin Murphy says the whole town is in shock and they're hoping for the best.
