Cork Ticketmaster rep brands Garth Brooks controversy a 'shambles'
One of Cork's longest standing ticket sellers has labelled the cancellations of the five Garth Brooks concerts as a 'shambles'. Charlie Buckley of Ticket Master is opening his stall in Merchants Quay at 8am tomorrow morning in anticipation of high volumes of ticket-holders hoping to secure a refund. TicketMaster have said the scale of this operation is unprecedented. Those who bought their tickets online will have their bank accounts credited in the next seven days as transactions will be reversed. Anyone who bought tickets at a Ticketmaster outlet is obliged to to complete a refund form and either post this to Ticketmaster or hand it in to a ticket centre. In both of these cases, customers will need to include the tickets with the form. For anyone submitting the refund form, either by post or by hand, a full refund including service charges will be processed by bank transfer, AUDIO: Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Charlie Buckley says he's shocked a compromise wasn't found: Click the PLAY button above to hear.
