Cork Victim Of Cervical Check Scandal Feels Let Down By HSE And Taoiseach

Carol Murray from Midleton was diagnosed with Stage 3 cervical cancer a year after her first smear test was misread.
A Cork woman who is one of over 200 women affected by the Cervical Check scandal says she feels let down by the HSE, The Health Minister and the Taoiseach.
Carol Murray from Midleton was diagnosed with Stage 3 cervical cancer a year after her first smear test was misread.
The 33-year-old mother of two says her cancer went undetected for a year. As a result, she's had to undergo intense treatment, has developed three bone conditions and is now unable to have any more children.
A march is being held in Midleton today to continue to raise awareness about the scandal and speaking to RedFM News Carol says it's also to remind the government that the issue can't be brushed under the carpet and they should be personally acknowledging each and every one affected:
