Cork Vigil to take place on Grand Parade

Cork is getting ready to show their respect for the victims of the Orlando massacre.
A vigil is scheduled to take place on the Grand Parade at 6.30pm this evening in solidarity with the LGBT community in Florida.
The event was moved from Daunt Square because of the large numbers of people expressing interest in attending.
Several vigil's have taken place around the country and Taoiseach Enda Kenny sent a message to the US saying the Irish people would stand by the LGBT community in America.
A book of condolences has been opened at the City Hall and the County Hall, and will remain open for the next two weeks.
