Cork voted one of the world's friendliest cities
Cork has been voted one of the friendliest cities in the world. Condé Nast Traveler has compiled a list of the 20 friendliest and 20 unfriendliest cities. Cork came in a tie with Asheville in North Carolina on number 20. Dublin and Kilkenny also made it on to the list - which was topped by Florianopolis in Brazil. Cork is described as a "very accomodating place where people are consistently friendly and helpful.
