Cork Weather Warning Could be Upgraded To A Red Alert
Storm Hannah is expected to bring winds of up to 130 km/hr
Forecasters are already warning that the storm looks set to cause disruption and power outages in parts of the country.
A status orange warning is in place for Cork from 4pm - and will be extended to Tipperary and Waterford from 10 tonight as it's expected to bring gusts of up to 130 kilometres an hour to those counties.
Forecasters have warned this morning that the Orange Alert could be upgraded to Red before Storm Hannah arrives as the strength and speed of the gusts continues to be monitored
A review of the warnings will take place this morning.
Met Eireann forecaster Liz Walsh says motorists need to be extra careful out on the roads from 6 o'clock this evening;
