Corkman Jailed For Possession Of Heroin
A 42-year-old Corkman has been jailed for three years after he was caught by gardai with over €3,000 worth of heroin in the city last year.
Mark O'Connor of Clashduv Road, Togher pleaded guilty to two counts of possessing heroin for sale or supply at Hartlands Avenue and at Clashduv Road on 25th November 2016.
Judge Sean O Donnabhain sentenced him to four years in jail for the drug offences but suspended the final year of the term and he backdated it to November when O'Connor first went into custody.
