Corkman still recovering from Paris Shooting not returning for memorial

A Corkman who survived the terrorist attack in Paris says it's too soon to return to the city for a memorial concert next week.

David Nolan from Millstreeet sustained gunshot wounds to his foot when gunmen stromed the Bataclan theatre during an Eagles of Death Metal gig.

His girlfriend Katie Nolan paid tribute to David saying he saved her life by shielding her from bullets.

90 people died at the concert and the band will return to the City on Tuesday to continue the show they weren't able to finish.

David, who is still recovering from his injuries, says there are other reasons for not being there.
