Cork's Breakthrough Cancer Research Up For €50k Prize
Breakthrough Cancer Research, who fundraise for Cork Cancer Research Centre are up for a €50,000 prize. Electric Ireland's Powering Kindness Week which runs from November 2nd to 8th encourages the public to do an act of kindness for one of three charities. Electric Ireland will transform this good deed into a donation for the chosen chairty and at the end of the week the charity with the greatest number of kind acts done in their name will receive a donation from Electric Ireland for €50,000. Principal investigator with Breakthough Cancer Research Declan Soden said that the money would give the charity a huge boost.
