Cork's classrooms some of the most overcrowded in Ireland

Some of the country's most overcrowded primary school classrooms are in Cork. That's according to the Irish National Teachers Organisation who say over 90% of pupils in prinmary schools in Cork are in classes that exceed the EU average of 20. The organisation is now calling on the Education Minister to progressively reduced the class sizes in primary schools nationwide. Speaking to RedFM News Peter Mullan of the INTO says Irish class sizes are among the highest in the EU. Click the PLAY button to hear.
