Cork's Generosity Shows Once Again In Appeal For Donations To Help 3-Year-Old's Rare Illness

The generosity of Cork people has shone through once again after a Cork mother spoke out on RedFM about her three-year-old daughter's rare illness.
Lisa Flynn's daughter Kate is unable to breath by herself and has a tracheostomy. Her condition detiorated before Christmas and as a result her life is now dependant on a ventilator 24/7, without it she cannot breath.
The Flynn's live in a three-storey house in Cobh which is unsuitable for Kate as she needs to be on the ground floor. Kate is now in small storeroom off the kitchen with no space for a proper bed or her medical supplies.
The re-design of the house is expected to cost in the region of €70,000.
Since speaking out on air yesterday about their situation almost €7,000 has been raised on Lisa's go fund me page (correct figure at time of writing).
