Costa Concordia Salvage Operation Set To Make History
The most expensive salvage operation in history is under way as engineers attempt to refloat the Costa Concordia. 32 people were killed when the cruise ship capsized nearly two years ago. Experts say they are confident the operation, which could take up to 12 hours, will work. Engineer Sergio Girotto is working on the project, and said it is going according to plan so far.
