Costs of Pairc Ui Chaoimh redevelopment exceeds original estimates

The redevelopment of is set to cost an extra €16 million euro.
The total cost of the revamp stands at just over €86 million euro leaving Cork GAA in debt of an estimated €23 million.
According to a report in the Irish Examiner Cork GAA are due to sell land at Kilbarry for a housing development in a bid to stabilise its finances.
They say the stadium costs will not have an affect on coaching and team preparation for the coming year.
