Council Searches For Location Of Designated Graffiti Wall

Graffiti artists in Cork could be getting a new designated graffiti wall.
The Evening Echo Reports the City Council and Gardai have met to discuss the possibility, in an effort to combat vandalism and allow genuine artists share their art with the community.
The Gardai say there is a problem with graffiti in various locations across the city, most of which are opportunists defacing walls and buildings.
The Council are currently looking for a potential area for the project, and it's hoped this will combat damage done by graffiti to buildings Leeside.
