County Council Clampdown On Roadside Sale of Cars

Cars offered for sale in Cork can no longer be advertised on public roads.

Cork County council has launched a new policy to deal with unauthorised advertising of vehicles, trailers, and signs on public roads.

Any unauthorised signs or cars on public roadways, footpaths, grass margins or lay bys will now have a sticker attached instructing on its immediate removal.

Following on from this the car or sign will be removed and stored for six weeks before being destroyed.

The policy comes into effect from Monday 17th July.
