County Councillors Vote To Maintain The Local Property Tax status quo
It means that homeowners in the county won't see a reduction in their Local Property Tax next year.
Concern was expressed by some councillors that a reduction in income from the tax would lead to the loss of services.
It comes as a new survey by Real Estate Alliance shows that the price of an average three bed semi-detached house in the county now stands at €150,000 while a similar sized property in the city costs €310,000
