County Mayor says the County Council is awaiting clarification on a number of concerns it has with the McKinnon report

One of the main concerns surrounding the report is the recommended boundary extension
The group behind the report were tasked with re-examining the recommendation of its predecessor to merge both Cork City and County Council into one super authority.
Instead it reported back with a recommendation on a boundary extension to include towns such as Carrigtwohill in the City Council's remit.
Concern has been expressed about the loss of revenue streams for Cork County Council as a result, and many councillors say the compensation package being offered to the local authority isn't enough.
Speaking to RedFM News County Mayor Declan Hurley says they want their concerns addressed.
