County Mayor to issue a statement shortly on Mother and Baby Homes
It comes on foot of RedFM News contacting the County Council last week for comment on the publication of the recent report into Mother and Baby Homes
Since the report was published several Councils around the country have issued apologies to survivors and victims
On Monday night the City Council stopped short of issuing an apology however the Lord Mayor read a statement which acknowledged the publication of the report, the apology on behalf of the state and 'Cork City Council's association with same'.
