Court rules over flood damage claims by UCC
The ESB was deemed 60 percent liable for the damage.
The Commercial Court has ruled the ESB was 60 percent liable for damage to University College Cork as a result of flooding six years ago.
In a ruling that runs to over 550 pages, the court ruled that the college was 40 per cent liable for the flood damage.
The case lasted 104 days and a separate hearing will be held to determine damages in which UCC are claiming in the region of 19 million euro.
