Courtmacsherry gearing up for Máire Ní Síthigh Autumn School

Courtmacsherry is gearing up to host an event this weekend which aims to lengthen the tourism season in the West Cork town.
It's after campaigners, who were calling for the village to be included on the Wild Atlantic Way, were told by Fáilte Ireland that the tourism season would need to be extended beyond the summer months.
The Máire Ní Síthigh Autumn School gets underway tomorrow and runs until Sunday with a host of speakers and events on the line up.
Speaking to RedFM News Chairman of Seven Heads Peninsula Tourism Barry Holland says the impact of events like this have boosted business in the locality:
