Creches warned to comply or lose state funding

The Minister for Children has warned creche owners that if they fail to comply with regulations then state funding will be withdrawn France Fitzgerald has asked the HSE to analyse the inspection reports from creches - to see if there is a pattern emerging in privately run facilities. The head of Children and Family Services Gordon Jeyes has been tasked with carrying out a full comparison of the reports - the first of its kind in Ireland.
