Crisis talks resume in Brussels

The talks between Greece and its creditors are in the bid to prevent a default.

Crisis talks between Greece and its creditors have resumed in Brussels, in a last minute effort to prevent a default.

Discussions between the Greek Prime Minister and the Troika collapsed last night - while Eurozone Finance Ministers were also unable to reach a compromise.

Failure to reach a deal to provide Greece with another bailout tranche mean Athens would miss a 1-point-6 billion euro repayment and default on its debt - which would almost certainly force the country out of the Euro.

Meanwhile, holidaymakers travelling to Greece are being advised to bring cash with them and book through a tour operator.

Jeanette Taylor from Sunway Holidays is just back from Greece where she spent time in Kos and Rhodes and says she didn't experience any difficulties using her credit and debit cards.

However She told RedFM that holidaymakers may find it difficult to withdraw money from ATMs so it is essential to take enough cash to cover their needs and use the hotel safe as a bank.
