CUH asking public to explore all options before turning up at the Emergency Department today
People are being asked to contact their GP and are being reminded that medical treatment is available at local injury clinics.
CUH says some patients may experience delays in the department due to the increased level of activity.
CUH is the second most overcrowded hospital in the country today according to the INMO, with 45 people on trolleys.
