Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded hospital in the country
That's according to the INMO who say that 42 people are in need of a bed at the hospital
A total of 480 people are on trolleys at hospitals across the country
Yesterday the Mercy University Hospital was forced to restrict visiting times due to an outbreak of the winter vomiting bug and outbreaks such as this are expected to add to the pressure on an already overstretched service.
