Culture night kicks off in Cork

Over 10,000 people are expected to avail of over 200 free events across Cork city this evening.
Families across the city and county will this evening be attending events in museums, galleries, theatres and churches as part of Cork's 12th annual Culture Night.
100 venues will be throwing open their doors until 11 O'clock this evening.
Bus Eireann are again offering free hop on / hop off Culture night busses running from the City hall, with live performances on board.
The City Gaol plays host to the Cork Light Orchestra, The English Market will remain open with traditional musical performances, and on the outskirts of the city Blackrock Observatory will host an evening of stargazing.
