Customers warned to prioritise their mortgage payments

The Chief Executive of the country's largest mortgage lender says customers have to prioritise their mortgage payments above all else. Jeremy Masding of Permanent TSB says his duty is to use as little taxpayer money as possible to write off mortgage debts. Independent TD Stephen Donnelly read a letter from one customer who was told she had to quit college to concentrate on her mortgage.
