Cycle lanes in the city criticised

They are being partly blamed for an increase in compensation claims against the local authority.

Cork's cycle lanes are once again back in the spotlight.

They've now been partly blamed for the 20% increase in compensation claims against Cork City Council.

It follows complaints by taxi drivers about the bike lane project, in particular on Washington Street where a concrete plinth was originally installed.
