Cyclists urged to "Be safe, be seen"
That's the message as part of a new campaign of road safety during the darker winter months
Garda patrol cars have been stocked with hi-vis jackets to hand out to road users as part of the annual campaign.
Noel Gibbons, Road Safety Officer with Mayo County Council, says this year has already seen more cyclist fatalities.
