Data Breaches At CUH
A HSE report into Cork University Hospital has outlined a series of data breaches relating to patient files. It's emerged ex hospital staff can still access sensitive patient information due to an I.T failure and other computer problems have caused thousands of patient medical record mistakes. Hospital management have said a number of the issues relate to wider HSE problems. However CUH have admitted there are a significant number of gaps in relation to the management and protection of sensitive data.
