Day two of protest at Cork direct provision centre underway

Staff at the Kinsale Road Reception and Accommodation Centre for asylum seekers have once again been blocked access to the facility. It's the second day of a protest at the direct provision centre and residents have promised to continue their campaign until the system changes. They say they're living in cramped accommodation on €19 each week, and have no choice in the food they eat or access to work or education. AUDIO: Speaking to RedFM News these residents say depression is now a huge issue at the facility as people have nothing to do and are enduring substandard conditions.
