Death of Joe O'Callaghan in Douglas; Man (22) remains in custody, post-mortem concludes
It's been confirmed to RedFM News that Gardaí investigating the death of 66-year-old Joe O'Callaghan whose body was discovered in Galway's Lane, Douglas are continuing to hold a man in his 20s in relation to the incident.
The post mortem examination has concluded and for operational reasons gardaí say they won't be making results publically know.
The father of three was discovered by his wife on her return home from work yesterday at 8.30am.
It's understood he died in violent circumstances.
Meanwhile the community in Douglas are in shock today following the incident.
