Death of man in Skibbereen upgraded to murder

Gardaí investigating the death of a man in West Cork have upgraded the case to murder after a post-mortem revealed he died of injuries died from injuries sustained in an assault.died from injuries sustained in an assault.
The body of 51-year-old John Ustick was discovered by his partner on Monday morning at the house they were renting on High Street in Skibbereen.
It's understood gardai have begun checking CCTV footage from the High Street area and according to garda sources, CCTV footage is likely to play an important role in establishing what exactly happened to Mr Ustic and who was responsible for the assault
Authorities believe the man may have been assaulted first in a car park next to Skibbereen Garda Station on High Street sometime around 8pm on Sunday but may have been helped home by two males and a female in their 20s and they are anxious to make contact with the three individuals.
