Dentists in Cork offer free mouth cancer screening for the public

Over 70 dental practices in Cork will be opening their doors offering free mouth cancer check-ups The screenings will take place on Wednesday, where dentist's aim to raise the profile of mouth cancer Dentists will inform people what warning signs to look out for and how they can reduce the risk of contracting the disease Cork University Dental hospital alone, already has 400 hundred people signed up for the screenings, with many more expected by Wednesday. Speaking to RedFm News Dr Eleanor O'Sullivan who is heading up the initiative says that you can get your free check up in any dental surgery you don't need to be an existing member of the practice.
