Development Of One Of The Largest Housing Projects In Cork Has Been Delayed

An Bord Pleanála had been due to make a decision on the project at Castletreasure near Douglas this week.
The final decision will be made on the 10th of October to allow for an oral hearing.
The hearing will discuss drainage at the development.
Plans for the project were submitted under the Strategic Housing Development Scheme, which allows developers to bypass local authorities to fast-track schemes.
Cairn Homes plan to build 234 semi-detached and terraced houses, 145 apartments and 93 duplexes.
