Diversions in place following fatal collision on the M8

The M8 remains closed this morning between J11&J12 Mitchelstown following a fatal two-vehicle collision.
It happened on the M8 near Kilbehenny at around 9 o'clock last night.
Gardaí have confirmed to RedFM News that traffic is being diverted onto the N8 into Cork and then to Mitchelstown.
It's understood a man in his late 70s has died in the incident.
The occupants of the second vehicle are believed to have escaped serious injury.
