Doctors warn against doing shots

Most of the people who die from alcohol poisoning each year have been doing shots, according to the Royal College of Physicians.
They're warning people to think about their drinking over the Christmas break.
Fears have already been expressed about the modern tradition of the 12 Pubs which sees bars filling with people having one drink in the first pub before moving on to 11 more and having a drink in each one..
The tradition has led to calls for restraint from Alcohol Action Ireland who say drinking to excess should not play such a pivotal role in Christmas Celebrations and is reminding people that three people die every day from alcohol related illnesses..
Liver specialist Professor Frank Murray, says the shot culture in particular is damaging people's livers:
