Domestic violence going undetected in Cork
There has been calls today for a societal change on how domestic violence is dealt with. It comes as Women's Aid - the national network for women affected by domestic violence in Ireland - celebrates 40 years. The service is now requesting 24/7 access to legal protection for vulnerable women and children and for the Government to sign up to the Istanbul Convention. The Sexial Violence centre in Cork says both domestic and sexual violence are under reported Leeside.
