Dragon of Shandon parade postphoned

One of Cork's top Halloween events is taking a breather this year as organisers prepare to expand the festival next year. The Dragon of Shandon Parade has been put on hold this year as attempts are made to turn it into an annual three day community festival The event, which always draws a huge crowd, features a 36 foot long fire-breathing dragon, which weaves it's way down Shandon Street following by a host of ghostly beings.
