Dredging work being blamed for foul smell over Cork City

Dredging work near the city quays is being blamed for the foul smell hanging over the city since the weekend... The Environmental Protection Agency which monitors air quality in the city, says the disturbance of marine sediments could give rise to a release of hydrogen sulphide, which would explain the sulphur odour..
