Drivers Warned Not To Drink And Drive

Irish drivers are being reminded not to drink if they're planning on getting behind the wheel - and not to take to the roads if they've had a drink. That’s the message from the Garda Commissioner after Kerry County Council voted in favour of a motion to allow limited drink driving. Yesterday, Justice Minister Alan Shatter rejected the proposal accusing Councillor Danny Healy Rae of seeking self-political promotion.
