Duke of Edinburgh's Funeral Has Concluded At St. George's Chapel Inside Windsor Castle

A minute's silence marked the beginning of the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral as Queen Elizabeth II and Britain honour his life.

Queen Elizabeth sat alone at the service due to the Covid restrictions.

The regulations reduced the number of mourners from around 800 to just 30 - with all guests wearing face masks and sitting apart.

The Prince of Wales and Princess Royal led senior royals in walking behind their father's coffin the short distance from the castle to St George's Chapel.

The Duke of Sussex and Duke of Cambridge joined the procession and were seated opposite one another during the service.

The Duke's coffin - carried on the back of a specially-designed Land Rover and was draped with his personal standard.

This woman in the crowd outside Windsor Castle described the minute's silence:

"I think it was very poignant and it was very nice to see that a lot of people were being very respectful. I think, really just kind of like, putting out their well wishes for the Queen and the rest of the family, especially during that minute; it was really nice to bring the whole of Windsor together."
