Delays To The Dunkettle Interchange Upgrade May Have A Knock-On Effect For Other Infrastructure Projects Leeside
Works on the Dunkettle Interchange are not due to be completed until 2023
Transport Infrastructure Ireland said it could take another year to award a contract for the works after TII and contractors Sisk could not agree on costs for phase two of the project, which has been described as a vital piece of infrastructure by business groups and developers.
Yesterday's Construction Industry Federation conference also heard that work on the M28 Ringaskiddy motorway is unlikely to begin before 2023, while it may be 2027 before the M20 Cork to Limerick motorway is completed.
