Dunnes Stores workers gear up for national demonstration

It will take place this Saturday in the capital.
Dunnes Stores workers are to take to the streets again this weekend as they march in support of decent work and a living wage.
The march on Saturday will be led by Dunnes workers and their families and will march from Dublin's Merrion Square to Dunnes Stores Head Office on
Georges Street at lunchtime.
Dunnes Stores workers have been campaigning for secure hours and earnings, job security, fair pay and their right to representation. This rally forms part of their overall campaign to achieve those goals.
Earlier this month Dunnes announced a 3% pay rise for staff and have now begun issuing four week rosters to workers.
However speaking to RedFM News Mandate's Lorraine O'Brien says security of hours for workers is still required for their members.
