€10 million in funding made available to UCC
€10.5 million in EU funding has been made available to UCC for the development of offshore renewable energy technologies and infrastructure.
This is the second phase of funding in this transnational, multi-million euro initiative which aims to help industry accelerate the development of offshore renewable energy by opening up access to 57 test facilities across 13 European countries.
The initiative sees research centres and organisations work on renewable energy technologies such as wave, tidal and offshore-wind.
