€50 million development for Grand Parade

  Cork City centre could be in for a major redevelopment if planning permission is granted for a proposed 50 million euro project. The plans would see the re-development of the derelict site of the former Capitol Cinema on the city's Grand Parade creating 450 jobs - 300 of those in the construction phase. It will link the famous English Market to St. Patrick's Street with a food innovation centre, along with retail and office units.
